What would u recommend in paint as my shed has paint on it and not stain .. and what do u think gloss satin ur opinion please

If you want it not to fall off the first time you tug it: Put it in really hot water. That allows the teeth to sink in around the end and get a much much better grip!!

I really enjoy these videos, but putting the end on a hose is just as bad as putting the portable baby cot together. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next one 😅😅😅 Edit.... You never twist the connector on because the teeth can catch the hose and twist.

Do you not need to use peel stop on whole patches as well as edges & what consistency of water/paint for mist coat? I’m using zinser mould resistant paint for primer & top coat so should I mist coat the first coat then use normal for second? Am applying all to plasterboard that is prone to damp.

That is not a reliable way of proving dead, ...you shouldn't be promoting DIY electrical works.

I used Speedfit pipe to replace most of the hidden pipework and all the radiators in my previous house. It was so easy to use and I never had any trouble with it. I sold the house about 7 or 8 years later, everything was still working fine. Going to use it again in current house. 😂

You are a numpty anyone knows you have to fill the bath first when applying sealant because if you don’t when you fill the bath a gap will open up then all your work is a waste of time.🤦‍♂️numpty

Why not use wd40 or dryer before removing?

Slight problem with those fixings, maximum gap between wall and brick is 45mm. What happens if the gap is 60mm? Rigifix ones have maximum gap of 20mm. How would you get around this problem ? thanks

I have laid floors and installed lighting following your guides, not only saving money and time, but more importantly feeling confident safety wise. Having worked in an FE college, you would make a brilliant teacher, shame teachers are so under valued in the UK that even if you wanted to, it wouldn't be worth your time as you would probably earn more doing RUclips!

Excellent video. I have a house where someone removed the original roof timbers and put a few supports under the purlins either side. The roof now bows, and it's got solar panels fitted one side! Now i need to start doing what I've seen on this video to make the roof safe and secure. Many thanks.

Great video. Attempting this today. I did notice when looking at the bits that the flush button does unscrew at the top, is this so it can be flush with the top of the cistern and not so stuck out?

Literally just did this exact thing. Good to know I did this right. Shat myself when I saw pressure dropping a couple of days later -- turns out didn't shut off the drain off fully and it was leaking slightly, so easily sorted. Oops. Also in my case my floorboards were T+G so ran mini circular saw (with depth set) along joins to remove the tongue before lifting. Also don't be a donut and try and fill the system with inhibitor via a radiator in a room you've just decorated, while the system is pressurised, or you will be redecorating and hoping your wife doesn't notice. Don't ask me how I know.
